From premium recycled materials to smart green nudges, here are 4 tactics you could implement:


✅ Position trade-ins as upgrades - Make customers feel smart, not guilty. Trade-in programs work best when they’re seamless, clearly beneficial, and highlight both the environmental and financial upside.


✅ Show emissions savings in relatable terms - Concrete comparisons (e.g., “equivalent to 30 fewer miles driven”) make abstract emissions numbers meaningful. If customers can see the impact, they’re more likely to act.


✅ Make repairability feel empowering - Offer tools, tutorials, and support to remove the intimidation from repairs. Empower users to extend the life of their products - and feel good doing it.


✅ Nudge with green defaults - Most people stick with default settings. Use this behavior to your advantage by making greener options the default - it removes friction and drives impact.
