𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Traditionally, supermarket freezers operate at -18°C, a standard set in the 1930s. Morrisons conducted research indicating that raising the freezer temperature to -15°C does not compromise food safety or quality. Based on these findings, the company initiated a trial in ten of its stores, adjusting freezer temperatures accordingly.
