COVID-19: SUPPORT FOR SMMEs
BC Update - Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Support for SMMEs
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a three-week lockdown in the country due to the spread of the coronavirus. The lockdown commenced at midnight on Thursday, 26 March 2020.
We have been working with various stakeholders across government and our professional bodies to determine the level of support available for SMMEs.
The BC team has prepared the document below to assist you in navigating this time. We have included the information that we believe to be relevant for our clients rather than including all measures. Therefore, it is important to note that there are other measures the government has put in place which we have not included in the document, however, can be found via some links in the document.
If you have questions related to areas not covered in the document, please let us know. The BC team are working remotely and here to support you as much as we can. Given the current environment and volume of requests, it may impact on the speed with which we are able to respond to you. We apologise in advance should this occur and appreciate your patience.
The document below is continuously being updated as new information becomes available. Please check this page regularly to determine if there have been any changes.
